Job offer dilemma:
I am currently at a crossroads. I got two job offers: Digital Marketing Specialist at a global agency ($58k) and a Print Marketing Specialist at a grocery chain ($70k). I have always been more connected to my creative side and it has always been my goal to work at an agency; however the grocery chain offer pays way more (I live in DC) but it’s more of a data-driven position. Thoughts ?

We're seeing alot of posts similar to 'whats a good salary for X location'? When asking questions like this, please provide as much info as possible, it makes all our lives easier when attempting to answer.

Examples of helpful clarifying info:
- # of years of experience in CS
- geographic location
- industry vertical of the position
- # of accounts / dollars managed
- size of greater org
- size of team

In our 121 last we had a good discussion on creating a personal development plan, with the idea being I’d write down clear goals & action points to get from my current level to the next, and I’d provide weekly evidence of it. I prepped the doc accordingly, but instead of wanting to discuss it, he said I have 4 weeks to “turn things around” - without giving any new info on what I’ve done wrong - esp given I wrote my goals based on this same feedback from last week??

I hate my job. I’m 23 and got my first salaried job in June 2021. My manager is a witch. Working here made me realize this is not the career path I want to follow. Started my own merchandise business with my own graphics and it’s not going anywhere. I have no passions, only things I like (graphic design and photography). I don’t like working under companies.
