Buying puts on GME? Am I too stupid to join the hedge fund losers that are potentially looking for idiots like me to take over their positions? But logically all short squeeze ends at some point. On Thursday when price dropped to $100 then rose back to $300, that’s the shorts covering their position so guessing squeeze is already coming to an end?

I’m a tech recruiter for a F100…I have noticed throughout the industry people who have accepted an offer back out maybe a day or two before they are supposed to start (sometimes they don’t even show up on first day) I’m just curious, what leads someone to decide to decline or change their mind after acceptance?

Interviewing at Meta for a product growth analyst role. Any tips on interviewing? Also this role seems a little technical which is a bit different than what I do now which is a product owner. Is this a good leap or continue with product owner role?
PLEASE HELP!! I am in an URGENT need of Job. NEED REFERRALS. IF SOMEONE IS AT SWIGGY, GOOGLE, ORACLE, EY, OR ANY OTHER GOOD ORGANIZATION. PLEASE HELP ME WITH REFERRAL
Is it feasible to make a jump from BizOps to TAS? No accounting experience. One of my good friends says his team is aggressively hiring because they are desperate for talent and he would be able to get my foot in the door. I’m a finance major who has only had consulting/industry experience, but if they’re actually paying what he says they are then it’s a no-brainer for me to jump if given the opportunity - I’d just be worried about failing without a CPA/truly relevant work experience.
Considering an exit to a small (<200 person) SF based SaaS company with 140k base vs a large (>1000 people) Fin Services company with 145k base. Advice on what to consider?
Why are hiring managers in tech so skeptical of our ability to work in a “fast paced environment” after working in consulting? I’m sorry but we regularly work 65+ hour weeks. Don’t tell me I don’t know what fast paced is.

Since joining I've mainly been on risk management projects (~80% of my time) with some DDs sprinkled over. How do you show "impact" when your experience has mainly been around supporting 2nd line people? Don't think "helped to enhance risk management practice" is particularly enticing to any employers
I want to be a VP, MD, Partner level, but have a background in OCM change management. I feel like that’ll keep me a SME and not make me into a leader. Thoughts on a path?
When you get the bill back from a team outing and 80% of the bill was on alcohol alone. 👍🏻👌🏻
Just completed a 3-statement model for a case study. It allotted 3 hours, but without a given excel spreadsheet with historicals pre-populated, so I had to manually fill it from scratch using the 10-K. I finished 80-85% I would say (minus the PPE/intangibles schedule). It was definitely not difficult - just ran out of time. Do I still have a shot?
I got a competitive job offer in San Diego and some of the people I’ve spoken to keep telling me to not go to California because “that place is a dumpster fire”. I’ve read things online about taxes and cost being very high but it doesn’t seem any different than a large east coast city (except the Bay Area). It’s the most populous state so clearly that hasn’t deterred 40 million people. But I don’t understand why people keep telling me it’s a bad idea?
