Job post vs. job description???? Why shouldn’t we use already prepared job postings as our internal job description? Why are these separate? I understand the marketing aspect, but can’t the responsibilities on the JD and job post look exactly the same? Please help!! Huge project to start asap.

I had an egotistical GM who said horrible things about the way I work. Poor reading comprehension, lacking critical thinking, having a give-up attitude, the list goes on.

Other employees got similar treatment. The owner became aware and he was demoted (which he then quit with zero notice).

Today I received a stellar review from my new GM. I am a hard-worker, able to tackle any problem, and amazing with client relations.

Nothing has changed in my work style. The only difference is the POV.

My 13 month old goes to daycare 4 days a week, and from next week will go 5 days a week. My mind knows this is not a big deal, but my heart is troubled. He is growing up so fast and now I will have 1 day less to spend time with him, but on other hand, wasn’t able to get anything done! Fridays are no meeting day at work for me, and usually a very chill day so I was able to manage him all alone as husband is in a busy project and has meetings all day, but nothing was getting done on home front!

As there are no HR roles my rural area, I'm in a role at a healthcare nonprofit that has some HR elements but is not true HR. I am being asked to consider a ​lead role in quality with even less HR duties.
