Look for other jobs, but stay on top of what you’re currently doing. Good luck!

Talk to the partner /MDs you support about other skills you have to offer. You have to build your job into what you want and can do. Good at PowerPoint? Like budgeting? Get involved in various councils is a good way to network and share your fresh ideas will get you on the radar.

Can I have you job? Sounds great.

I used to work in HR before in a medium size company and applied to the position of EA @ Deloitte thinking it was advancing my career. But yea Op what you wrote is exactly what I do as an EA too and no it does not get better. You need to ask yourself what is the career progression for an EA. @ At least with HR you can go somewhere. It is a good job to get your foot in the door or work as a fresh graduate but no a long term career. Good 4 now but you need to leave fast before 10 years by and you wonder. Unless, you like the job and happy with what you do then stay

Honestly, is this your passion? I’m a little selfish and I’m not busy, so i use my time in personal projects. My manager loves me and the guys i support like me. I get there tasks done quickly and with little fuck ups. Good balance.

Not at all passionate about it. Guess that's part of the problem!

There are plenty of opportunities to use this time to upskill. Get your badges, research what bots are out there that might be useful to your partners and their teams, be proactive and look ahead for your partners. Network with EAs outside of your own market.
