Don’t let imposter syndrome get to you, you got this! You’re more experienced than most that were in that meeting.

I'm facing a similar situation. It's all part of getting acquainted with the new company and role, you will eventually learn how to navigate. Don't shoot yourself in the foot, you can do it!

You’ll be fine

This is how everyone feels when they start. You wouldn’t have gotten an offer if you weren’t capable. Also, this means you have a tremendous growth opportunity ahead. It’s impossible to grow if you aren’t deeply uncomfortable in the beginning. Good luck!

Looks like Trump is packing the SCOTUS with conservative majority which is good for another decade. As a useful idiot, he got you what you needed on SCOTUS but you know that in general he is detrimental for the country. On every other front, he is clueless or has messed up things. Question for conservatives - Do you still need him for another 4 years?

NEED ADVICE...i have recently resigned from my organization as am looking to switch into an entirely different profile.I do have an offer in hand with almost 50% hike from current. While in notice period, my company has promoted me, offering almost same hike and promising me provide the role which i am looking for 'but it might not happen immediately and would take some time, till then i have to juggle both the work profiles' - as per my manager.

Please advice if i should stay back or leave.

*sigh* Will I ever find a company that cares about HR professional development as much as the employees’ we help? Getting sick of hearing about how development is so important to the company (often during orientation) but when I ask to attend a conference or get a certification, it’s crickets! I have more education/experience than most of the people we ‘serve.’

So, I am a C in the Fed S&O practice and already have a Masters. I'm trying to figure out how valuable doing a MBA would be, either through GSAP or on my own. Thoughts?

H1b notice period rules:
Can anyone tell me if there any rules/law to serve minimum notice period when a person is working in H1 visa?

Background: I moved to the US through mnc as a on-site deputation. Deputation contract doesn’t say anything about notice period on international assignment, but there is a clause saying that “organization has right to claim damages to business bcoz of the resignation and apparently have rights extend my notice period.”

Can this clause cause any issues?
