Try to be as proactive as possible (i.e. take ownership of tasks and ensure they are done properly). This will become easier with time. Some people try to do the minimum possible and it shows quickly, don't be them.

Any reasons why you think I shouldn’t join?

Congratulations :) !

Presuming its a move from Industry to Big 4

Operations controls audit and analytics its all the same but Big4 have their packaging different 😂
My 2cents - Never let anyone play around with your confidence & the value that you bring to the table(esp. reportees😝) . All the best !

Be confident in your knowledge and experience, own it be vocal, and hit the ground running this helps set the tone. Big 4 college hires are cliquey and condescending to experienced hires.atleast that's mine and a few friends experience

Thanks, I appreciate hearing the other point of view, but is there any advice you would like to add to someone who it seems like you think will add no value to the team?

Don’t join!

Would be great if you could give me a reason why :).

Good luck! Be sure to try to meet and connect with your new practice. And congrats on the new gig.

What's the most effective way for a small RIA to recruit FAs who have a few years experience, want to break away from large/corporate firms? I'm a $70M fee-only (commissions for insurance) independent RIA with a generous comp schedule that enables FAs to own their own book while they grow. As the owner, my focus is to help FAs succeed; as a firm, our focus is on client service and helping them succeed. I can afford a small salary, but not benefits. I'm especially interested in female FAs.

I was a regular PM managing my own vertical and now have the opportunity for a new role in the org. No promo or cash related, just jurisdiction wise.

I'd be focusing on:
For old product-
-Free Trial
-automation
For new product-
-Building out from scratch
-UI/UX related user feedback
-sales and marketing focus
-use cases and features

Is this a good move career wise? Love being a PM and looking to grow.
