Anyone here work at Wellington Management and is willing to chat with me about a Data Science / Quant role? Recruiter reached out and I’m considering whether I should interview for it. Currently work at a Global Macro Desk of a MM hedge fund (think Millennium, Balyasny, Pt72) and looking to understand more about firm culture, investment process, career prospects to the extent possible and comp. Thanks!

I just got an offer from EY in London but considering based on what the maternity policy is which doesn’t seem to be spelt out in contract or benefits pdf. Does anyone know a) if there’s a minimum employment period to qualify and b) what the enhanced maternity pay is. I’ve read both 16 weeks and 18 weeks.

Trying to negotiate a standardized MBA offer is not a winning strategy.
Thanks! I read through the offer letter and it doesn't seem to have that in any of the clauses.
Traditionally they only have claw back clauses if its a voluntary leave aka leaving the company for another on purpose
Very true but in my situation, I'm receiving half of my bonus a week after I sign.
I believe the term is a repayment agreement but basically unless you specially sign an agreement saying you will repay if you leave (voluntary or not) before a certain date you should assume you wouldn’t repay. Wouldn’t worry about it - it would also be a terrible sign if companies were clawing back signing bonuses
My firm clawed back after a year n half !
Really simple. Don’t spend your bonus until after the claw back period if you’re that worried.
Nice per usual, salary? Yoe?
I should have mentioned that this firm is giving me half of the bonus a week after I sign and the other half two weeks before my start date, which could be anywhere between June and August. If we've learned anything in the last year, a lot can happen in six months.
Post MBA is typically non-negotiable for the major firms.
