Any angel investors seeking to make an investment and connect with entrepreneurs, take a look at the US Investment Network. Pretty cool platform that is just starting out. It’s free and has some cool pitches, kind of like shark tank style.
Here is the link: https://usinvestmentnetwork.com/
Pretty sure entrepreneurs can list for free too. Enjoy!

Our company has profit sharing, bonuses for management team, we are an ESOP(employee owned). I too drive our culture initiatives and i involve the entire company. We grew rapidly to over 50 people so values, mission and vision weren’t ever clearly identified. So I came up with a set of questions and polled the entire company. We called it “Brand Engagement”. From those answers, the management team is defining our values etc. My idea behind this is that the values, mission and vision will actually have value to the team and ring true to what their responses were. Everyone has had a lot of fun with it and it gives us an opportunity to come together and collaborate on something outside our normal routine. We also celebrate stuff monthly and every quarter someone gets a free day off and awarded with a gift card, sometimes hunting and fishing trips. We also regularly fire up the grill and cook a nice big lunch
This is a really hard one to define. What suits the 20 something guy in sales may not resonate with the 30 year old mother of 2 young kids in marketing. It is a bit more work but creating a matrix that the employee can choose from. E.g flexible working hours or WFH 3 days a week or more PTO that can be used at a mutually agreeable time. Just some thoughts.
I used to work for someone who gave everyone their birthday off (paid but not required to use PTO), encouraged everyone to take off at 2-3pm local time on the Fridays before long weekends or after quarter end, gave us $200 expense reimbursement for an anniversary dinner (or to celebrate anything special once a year for singles). Little things like that made such a huge difference and this guy had several folks working for him for 5+ years. I personally worked for him for over 12 years. I miss little things like this so much bc it truly made us all more aware of when someone had a special life event coming up and we’d all take a more active interest in what each other was doing.
