What courses would you recommend (or avoid) to improve my overall management skills? I am reading books, articles and my company provides me with a career coach. I am 38, and don't really want to go back to school. I have my BS in Psychology, but am a Director in Finance. Don't necessary want the cost that comes with an MBA.
Any good books or articles worth reading on product marketing and analytics? I come from more of a technical and general product management background, so I personally feel like I lack on the marketing side. Like Search engine optimization, etc. Thank you.

As a new product manager what books should I be reading? I’ve already read Inspired but looking or more. For context, I’ve joined a series A start up and as expected there’s a lot to do and it’s very fluid. I want to be able to help the head of product as much as possible as well as provide some structure to how we work.
I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?
Hi everyone! I recently transitioned from a technical project manager role to an integrations product manager role. And do you have any other tips and recommendations for someone just starting out in this career path?
Thank you in advance!

I currently work in a hybrid sales/marketing role. However, I would love more experience in marketing specifically so I can move in to a marketing specific role. Does anyone have a suggestion of books or articles, podcasts, organizations to follow that will allow me to stay up to date on the latest trends but also help prepare for a marketing centric role? Thank you

Is there an ‘easy’ way to find a psychiatrist? Everyone in my network has bad reviews or doesn’t call me back. Everyone open on ZocDoc is too far away (I’m in Boston with no car.)

Aside from the exec, are there partner who are fully mid/back office? And if so, what does their income look like?
Looks like we’ll get a call today—a day earlier than expected tbh. PA counters worked all through the night Tuesday to make this happen earlier.
Advice: I'm taking over a new thread, and I've been shadowing the current lead. The development team appears to need a LOT of handholding. During our daily standup, I find that we spend over 45 mins (15 min meeting) daily going over code. There is so much handholding. I do not have a strong background in the language that they are using. I'm very concerned about the strength of the team. I'm not sure if I should inform my manager? I don't think I have the expertise to lead the team cont....
It’s been a long journey of hard work, perseverance, and patience. Can’t wait to taste the sweet nectar of success and move on to my next company. 6 months and still looking! Send me some luck! 🤗

We are looking to restructure our marketing team (B2B IT services) and one of the questions I have is: how does recruitment marketing / employer branding fit into the marketing team?
Over the last year EB and RM have become increasingly larger parts of our team’s work, but it’s not part of the marketing commercial targets (just helping recruitment meet their targets). Are they completely separate in your company? Or part of the team and if so how?
What is the maximum package one can expect for Customer Support Senior Associate with 4 years experience overall?

Hello Everyone. I’m looking for a UX Design job opportunity. I recently completed a UX Design Diploma and I am looking for support/mentorship/assistance in landing my first role. Have you all ever had a mental roadblock making you less productive? If so how did you handle it? I've been pretty concerned about my health lately as I've been in and out of the hospital the last month. So far my tests have come back as normal and doctors are pointing it towards anxiety which is something that I'm not used to having. At times it feels like black in tech means I have to appear as a superstar so I'm not labelled by my peers as a slacker. Could be just me but it feels that way.

I am thinking about making a pivot to cloud/cloud security. I attempted the CCSP but unfortunately I didn’t pass. I plan on taking it again and then getting some AWS certs to follow. Do you think this is the best path into cloud? If not, what do you think would be a better path to cloud?
I currently work as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO). Nothing wrong with my role, just looking for a change. I plan on making a change after I get vested (Jan 2023).
Congrats! You should look into reaching out to folks on LinkedIn who are in that role currently. They might be able to give you a few pointers. Best of luck!
Thanks! Already reached out to a few profiles but will double-down once transitioned :)
That is so exciting! I would look into what courses they suggest and offer to people internally. That way, you'll be on the same page.

You can find a lot of case studies etc online that can help you get into the mindset! There are a few podcasts I can dig out as well that really helped me get into the PM mindset
Thanks! Would really appreciate it if you should share podcast recommendations.
Congrats! It will be a steep learning curve, but worth it. When I moved from American Express to Google, despite the greater pay and opportunity, those first 6 months were damn tough. If I can help support your transition, reach out to me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/alanjstein/
