MBB folks with ~4 YOE pre mba, what kind of industry roles at Non FAANG companies are you exiting to and how much TC?

Hi friends, I got 69.34% from Imperial college from aeronautics with MEng. Will this hurt my chance for applying to MBB? I am currently working in Accenture as a first year analyst. Had summer intern in Accenture and one year of placement experience in a technology company
(Did terrible in first two year as I spent to much time/trying too hard to really understand what I was learning and did not leave enough time to practise past papers Lol, improved dramatically in last two years)

Is it worth going to a T15 school if I currently make 97k with 3 YOE with cpa but can find another job for ~120k. Looking to pivot from B4 to MBB only.

What would you choose -
1. Exit as MBB as ASC or M with 5YOE?
2. Exit after 3 YOE at SC?
3. Exit as B4 M with 5YOE?
4. Join industry M role now w/ 3YOE, and try for big tech in 2y?

Here’s a weird question for the MBB folks - how competitive would you say you guys are, internally? I think people at ACN arent not competitive but most of us generally do want to help each other succeed. Meanwhile, I’ve heard there’s some particularly sharp elbows in MBB, especially toward the EMs…would you guys say this is true? Curious how cut throat the internal mentality is.

What is the likelihood of breaking into Management Consulting (MBB) with the following background.

(I know certain things are irrelevant. I’m a recent grad and would like idea of my chances)

Education:
BS Finance (3.5 gpa)
MS Accountancy (Top 3 program - idk if this is irrelevant) (starts this month and will finish late 2023)

Work experience:
Audit Staff accountant - regional firm (during busy season audit and tax) (by late 2023 I will have 2 YOE)

Hello! I will be attending an unranked B-school in London this fall. I chose the school for a handful of reasons (family, time, program, budget) and even before I have determined that I want to become an MBB consultant post MBA.

I come from an EM country, 10 years in Financial Services from brand-name global firms. Undergrad - Foreign Service.

On a bit of a time crunch here - client is a foreign portfolio investor looking to buy loans from an asset restructuring company (ARCs). I’ve been assigned the financial indebtedness chapter of a DD, I have copies of the term loans (facility agreements, guarantees, hypothecation deeds) and the agreements with the ARCs. Went on a final interview today and the interviewer yawned through my presentation, was so BRUTAL with feedback, and was just super low-energy. This dude picked apart my entire presentation and frowned through all of it. Up until this point, everyone that I interviewed with said the presentation was great, but some things that need improvement. A recruiter mentioned to me the possibility of a down payment assistance loan - does anyone have experience getting this from their employer and willing to share a bit of insight?

So McKinsey & Company has reached out but the recruiter is from the ‘wrong office’ (NJ not NYC). I’d still consider but would prefer NYC as I live in Manhattan. Any tips on navigating this?
