Will still retire in 8 or 9 years with 3 million in retirement accounts a zero mortgage plus 20 k annual pension plus social security at 62 or 65 and Not one single regret

My regret not spending enough time with family earlier in my career. Just went back to flex to spend time with my youngest. Done flex on and off during career. No client, partner or firm comes before family and health.

I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd baby shortly after taking a new job with a new company. Initial discussions with my male boss went well & I was told not to worry. Now that I’m getting closer to my due date, I reached out to HR & they have essentially told me that I’m not eligible cause I haven’t worked here a year. Has anyone else experienced this? What was the outcome? I’m freaking out that I will have my baby & be expected to be back to work the next day 😡

Moms, we have a 3 week old and have had a relatively tough time with our newborn. My husband found an amazing nanny to help us at nights and she is great! But I am having the toughest time letting her care for my baby. Her ways are definitely better than mine cause they are working and the baby is sleeping better. What is wrong with me? I have this help and I am still staying up all night, worrying 😢

6 months back I got a proposal where the guy was ok. He is having a elder sister who is married but very bossy (to his husband and the whole family actually). His mom only listens to her. The guy is neutral to everybody ( that's strange). Now due to some 3rd person, we had some dispute, nothing from our end but they spoke to my father very rudely. His sister's husband and his mother said we have so many proposal in hand. If u don't want to give ur girl don't give n all.

Finally went back to the office today and went to lunch with a couple colleagues with a client we are working to retain after the relationship partner retired. Great lunch, great conversation. As we were wrapping up client asked me about my due date (I am very obviously pregnant), so I let him know - Sept. 26. He proceeded to let me know he knew I had some fun at New Year’s… like what? Can we not? I just laughed it off bc how else do you respond in front of colleagues and a client? Blech.

My son just turned 2. Missed afternoon naps x2 days because of appointments. He usually naps from 2-4 pm. He’s been crying for the past hour, so do we let him continue to cry until his nap time ends, or take him out after an hour (which would be in 10 min)? Feeling like a terrible parent.

I need advice: I’m starting maternity leave in a week and I found out this week that I was promoted. While I was excited at first, now I’m feeling worried about coming back from leave and not being able to perform at the next level (promotion won’t actually be effective until halfway into my leave) because I’m sleep deprived and stressed trying to take care of a 4 month old, and making people question whether my promotion was deserved. What can I do to prepare and set myself up for success?

2) My donor is fully vaccinated and did Pfizer, another rumor that it’s better that parents have same vaccine? Is this true?
