What is the expected pay band for an Audit A2 (possible early promo to S1) internally transferring to FDD after this busy season.
With the transfer, assuming no early promo, would an A2 salary in FDD be comparable to that of an S1 in Audit?
Any insight would be appreciated, whether it comes from a HCOL or LCOL
Hello All, looking for some suggestions on negotiating offer. Just received an offer as a project engineer associate manager (not much info on typical salary band) I’ve been with the company 17 years. Working on finishing my masters - next will be pursuing my PhD. I have the certifications (desired). Would 137500 be a good offer? I expected 150k on average. Thoughts? Feedback? Suggestions? Thanks.
Accenture fish: how does “partner” comp compare to the Big 4? I see a lot of posts around what will happen in an EY split, but don’t really see what A partners currently make. I’m an SD weighing a decision for my future and pretty unclear about the ramifications.
I am stuck please help with honest feedback.

I have a friend that’ll call me to chat, but she often goes “hang on I’ll call you back.” Majority of the times she calls, she’s either picking up her kids/someone else calls her/she’s ordering food/etc that interrupts the convo and it kinda drives me insane. I get she’s busy as a mom but it’s frustrating to try to hold a convo that gets interrupted for something else making her hang up & call back OR the kids are in the background making noise/she’s talking to them while I’m talking. Any1 else?

Becuz I’m old school I like excel. Just wanted to share (I know I do okay - 27 yo). I record leases as debt on my balance sheet since it’s an obligation I’ll need to pay (and therefore the recurring dips year after year). I guess lesson learned is that it definitely snowballs (16k to 100k took 2 years while 100 to 190k took 1 year).
I thought being an executive was what I wanted, but I find myself feeling a little empty after achieving my goal. Can anyone relate?

There's collective bargaining by the engineering team about what tasks they take on (Grooming / Sprint Planning ~ Contracts).
There's regular feedback and round tables to see how to improve things (Retros ~ Union meetings).

Additional Posts in Salary Negotiations
I just recently promoted to HR assistant manager. I have my PHR and working towards my SPHR. I am the lowest paid employee in the depth. We have a senior specialist and a general specialist both make more than I do. They have been employed longer with the company. What is your advice on this issue?
I was contacted today by our President saying the company is looking to “backfill” with current employees who have buying experience for the next 1-2 quarters. As I have said experience, he wondered if I’d be “willing to entertain” being one of those people. He mentioned extra money (no specific amount) and asked me to mull it over this weekend. How do I navigate this professionally, make sure to protect my time & work in my current role, and negotiate proper comp if I decide to accept? 🤷🏻♂️

(Structural Engineering Manager)
I am a PM in a structural engineering consulting company in Southern California.
While other PMs are getting paid similar to me, but my team is making $272 per hour for the company while other teams are making between $137-$181 per hour. The difference is because I made so many tools to get the projects done quicker with higher quality.
My income including bonuses is $115k.
How should I approach to ask for a 30% raise by end of the year? Does 30% it sound fair?
I was told by a company via email prior to the final interview, “that the maximum salary for this opportunity is $90k plus 10% bonus.” Does this mean that I should expect no more than the previously stated or expect to be offered the previously stated? Just don’t want to be blindsided if the offer is lower. Thanks!

I have been working in Talent Acquisition for just over a year now and starting to look into what my next potential opportunity could be. Salary-wise is ~70k too high?
I have a verbal offer that I’m working with a recruiter to finalize. We discussed comp fairly earlier on and I aimed high, doubling my current salary. It sounds like they’re prepared to give me what I asked for plus more (higher sign on bonus, less travel, hybrid/mostly remote). I’ve had it drilled into me to always negotiate. Is there such thing as an offer that doesn’t need negotiating? Am I leaving money on the table?
After weeks of no contact Goldman Sachs have finally come back to me with an offer of £75k for an associate role within Global markets ops (collateral management) in London. I initially gave them salary expectation of £80-85k and have 2 competing offers around £80k range. I’ve tried to negotiate and tried to ask for higher but they won’t budge or match my other offers. They’re saying the pay is in line with the peer group and my experience (7.5 years). Am I being lowballed? Goldman Sachs

My currently salary is $1250/week. I would like to know how much is someone getting for what I’m doing?
I’m currently going through the Amazon interview loop for a non-tech junior L5 role and am at the point where we talk with a HR rep about compensation.

Just got a verbal offer from Accenture of $140k plus 15/20k sign on bonus. Level 7, Ohio base. Thoughts? They told me on the call it they would have to get it pushed through HR due to it being at the highest level of the band. Seeing some conflicting posts on compensation range for this level.
