I know this is a story that repeats in this bowl but I’ve finally reached my end with this industry. While the pay is great, I’ve grown to dread work. I understand that client side isn’t utopia but where else does a “seasoned” ad person end up?
New to implementations but got stuck managing/doing configurations. I’m not the PM but I deal with engineers and client face almost every. Best book for this type of role besides the Phoenix project?
Folks in consulting or advisory who started recently, what was your starting salary and what practice/geographic location?
hi everyone! I just received an offer to join Deloitte Digital‘s client strategy consulting group at the SC-level for 140k with a 10K signing bonus. Is this on par with the rest of the firm or should I counter with a higher number? 3 Years of relevant experience. Thank you!
Anyone know anything about C-4 Analytics (Chicago specifically, but happen to hear from Boston peeps) Good clients, good work, good culture? I know they are less advertising but ...shot in the dark.
Just got rejected from a chase card given their 5/24 policy. Looking to add another cash back with sign up bonus but afraid of rejection. Any suggestions? Score is high 700s, 8 cards currently.
Looking to jump from healthcare consulting into venture or growth equity healthcare investing. Any good firms that value consulting experience that folks would recommend?
When it comes to recruiting, is it good for the industry when the first word out of HR is "diversity" and not "talent?"

Do firms you’re interviewing with have the right to request verification of other offers or verification of salary being offered?
Hi everyone. I interviewed for a sales role at Amazon. I was told the role was an L6 and I can stay based in Chicago. Well, the recruiter emailed me today saying the hiring team felt I was better suited for an L5 role (estimated total comp is $140K-$150K) and I would have to move to Seattle. They'll send me an offer if that works. Any advice or opinions on how to negotiate? For context, I gave a desired salary range of $280K-$310K since this was an L6 role, and my current TC at P&G is $200K.
I got a 12b6 that I was expecting but they had a 1 really good argument that if it wins It will really fuck my case.

Any fish out here that have transitioned from a staff attorney to an associate role? If you have, what was your path and what all did you do?
Would anyone at Deloitte be willing to provide a referral? I’m qualified for the role but just want to ensure my resume gets seen. TYIA
