About to take my first international project with another firm - will be living there for over a month. Any advice / experience to be successful in an extended travel role like this ?

Bi mid-20s F in a relationship with a female here. I came out to my traditional, homophobic immigrant parents a few months ago and it didn’t go well.. they brought up the topic again and seem to be in ultimate denial. I recently moved in with my gf and haven’t told my parents yet, and am wondering if I myself am not as confident as I should be in my relationship if I don’t feel I can stand up to my parents.
