I reccomend trying to do a couple of live cases over zoom (a lot if you can, ideally). Equations are good to know but I think its more important that you know what to use AS well as WHEN to use it.
To give context: I had my BCG interview last week and the partner wanted me to make this weird shortcut in the math that there was no way I could have prepared for because it was so case specific.
But in general: perpetuity valuation, ROI, general %'s, payback time, etc. Usually there is a site or 2 with basically a "master list".
C1 when you say that the partner asked you to do a math shortcut, do you mean that he/she asked you to incorporate a computation method in the middle of the case?
Boston Consulting Group Does the 1 year apply ban apply across BCG DV and BCG Gamma? I’d like to apply to positions at both but want to apply to my second choice after doing some extra prep if I get rejected from the first choice.
I have a product marketing manager interview for Amazon coming up. Super excited. Trying to prep as much as possible. I am new to the tech industry. Any tips are appreciated. My first interview with another PMM is next week. 🤞🏻

Not comfortable sharing too many details TBH as this was a recent interview.
But it was just skipping a couple steps by using numbers I had already calculated.

Online case doesn’t translate well to your prep. I had done over the over 25 cases before the interview and the online case was a complete curve ball.
Any examples? How to best prepare for the online case then?
