I want to get my PhD, but all of the programs I want require a full time commitment for the first year. What are my options? Is a sabbatical an option? Or would I have to straight up resign? consultant keeps making spelling mistakes on every document, including when they just need to copy and paste text directly from email instructions. when they send me work they now say “let me know if you find any spelling errors” - and while i always check work because it’s a team effort, i feel like these careless mistakes could be avoided. english isn’t their first language (nor mine), is it insensitive to ask them to double check their work? or is there any other way to handle this?
