Starting my counseling career on Tuesday and I’m scared to fail. What if I say something stupid and hurt my clients and make it worse? I am thinking about moving into private practice. I am three years out of graduate school ( I went to school for clincial mental health counseling). I am currently living in NYC and my current group practice is paying me much lower (as well as treating me poorly/ burning out) than I think I could be getting if I started my own practice.
