Definitely check with the SBA as they have a specific program for minority owned businesses and women owned business. I'd also check with your local business development programs as often they have very good loan terms. (This probably depends on where you live but I know in the midwest a lot of rural areas offer business development loans that are incredibly attractive, a bank will never be able to match the terms of these loans.)
SBA, but also depending on the type of business and location, I have a friend that specifically helps minority owned businesses get government grants. So it’s worth checking in your area to see if any companies help streamline that process for you.
That’s going to depend at least partly on location. I’d start by checking with the Small Business Administration. I’d also check state, local and industry resources. Business groups in the area can sometimes be helpful, especially networking type groups who have incentive to be helpful.
