Yes it does. It is depend on the school yearly fees. GI bill cap is around 17k a year and most of the school also participate in yellow ribbon program which means school will give you 17k as well towards your yearly fees. Any other expense top of that is your responsibility.

P1 nailed it for the most part. Montgomery GI Bill is ~$1700 per month for 36 months, Post 9/11 GI Bill covers 100% tuition up to the most expensive undergraduate tuition in a public university for your state. Yellow Ribbon varies by school. Some schools that participate in the yellow ribbon program will contribute the difference between the GI Bill and the schools average tuition.

Forgot to add - 9/11 GI bill also will give u BAH depending on ur place of residence e.g California $2400 a month.

Several schools (HBS) have scholarship funds to match GI Bill. Believe there is a government incentive to do so

Sorry if this has been posted here several times. But how does one come back to USA on H1B if they have to travel to India on urgent basis? Is it safe to travel? What if NIE gets rejected ?
