Is anyone else following this Twitter disaster? It is so good but I love the special call-out Eli Lilly (sorry to anyone who might work there or be invested) received for jacking up the cost of insulin. Insurance companies are now allowing embryo banking. This happened to me and also another friend who works at a different company where we decided to go through with another IVF cycle before attempting a transfer (because an optimal number of embryos was not achieved) and insurance approved them. Hallelujah!

Traveled for the first time this week since COVID and got the dreaded “do you have kids?” question at team dinner. Him-“do you have kids?” Me- “No, I don’t.” Him-“Oh good! Having backpains and always needed to crack my back / stretch every now to relieve a bit, especially after sitting > 1 hr, or after getting out of car/bed/chair. 8 glasses of water everyday. Started to do road cycling and it helps, but not completely. Any suggestions?

Do you go see your parents when they are getting surgery?
I've never been afraid of surgery before and my dad's had a bunch (from military). He lives a few states away but I usually get to see him quite often. He's only in his 40s and my mom is with him. The surgery he's about to have is considered high risk. I'm not worried or anything, but it's it customary to go see them when they're having a major surgery? He'll be in-patient for at least a week. Sounds I go after and help my mom? WWYD?

My facility want us to run Bipap on Med-surg floors. I don't think that is safe. It's one RT in the entire hospital.

I have a manager that does not seem to understand mental illnesses, disorders, etc. He thinks I am making excuses rather than trying to explain things (I have diagnosed ADHD, anxiety, and depression) and I’m trying to take ownership for issues but also help him understand what I am describing better as well.
