Just curious what y’all think. I have opened and operated 2 bars for my company, including creating their menus, pars, inventory sheets, ordering guide, liquor req sheet (all sheet to shelf), designed the bar, literally everything for this company and he refuses to pay me more than 50k. Am I wrong for knowing I’m worth more?

Depending on conventions we’ve had $20k days.

You are not wrong at all. Essentially you've started two businesses from everything from management to design. You're probably worth more than what you think you are frankly. Especially for such a popular spot. Leave and start your own spots, best revenge is a more successful business!

I wish I had the money to do so. I want my own spot eventually and it was a blessing to learn from the best of the best because I’ve learned so much from them. I just wish they would see that I’m worth more now that I’ve busted my butt to be great. It’s not been easy and many mental breakdowns but it’s been worth it for everything I’ve learned from it and accomplished. They built me into what I am but gratitude doesn’t pay the bills :(

Good morning what region is your venue located and what’s annual revenue? How many people do you manage and what’s your specific title?

Thank you so much. I really appreciate the advice! I’ve been looking around and praying

Have tons of one-off recruiters hitting me up on LinkedIn about contract PM roles but that's not what I want.

Hello, I am a Risk Analyst at a software company and have been a top performer on my team for a year now. I was hired on with the impression that my company will pay top performers “top of market salaries” because it is stated in the culture deck of the company. Through independent research I have found that I am not being compensated “top or market” and according to most sources I am not even at the median salary for risk analysts in our industry with similar experience and education. Thoughts?

Applying for digital marketing/ communication specialist at another hospital. Requested $30-35/hr. Their HR is saying at that rate I’d need 10-15 years of experience in my field. I’m currently at 4-6. However after doing research via glass door it seems that their rate for 10-15yrs is 20k lower than the market rate of $95k median. They are still communicating with me and have no said sorry the salary you’re requesting is too high. I’m being paid $28/hr now. Anybody in comms and marketing field?

I was offered a position for a set amount and they hired someone for the same job as me to start at the same time for $25k more (I saw it because HR gave me access to seeing profiles and salaries, nothing illegal) they also had me training her. She resigned her 3rd day but I let them know when I received my offer letter before she resigned that I had seen it and how do I feel about training someone the same position as me and paid more than me. They haven't said anything yet to me about it
