I’m in the interview process now and communication has not necessarily been that great with it being seemingly rushed then with gaps and then being passed to other recruiters who asked me the same question and act like I should be further along in the process then having to get back to me because they need to talk to somebody else. It appears very disorganized but not sure if this is just an HR issue or if there’s a reason

I’m in the interview/prescreening stage for a large Fortune 500 company and when discussing salary I’m told it’s an OTE of 150K with a mix of base salary, stock, and a signing bonus. Why can't we go back to the good old days? Where you joined a company and retired there with a nice pension. WTF is wrong with the world that we decided to take a perfectly nice thing, and ruin it with instability, anxiety and stress in the persuit of maybe more money but at higher tax?

I interviewed with the hiring manager on Monday and she really liked me and I liked her. On Tuesday I interviewed with the VP who is my bosses boss. That same day, I interviewed with the CMO. I was very tired at that point since it was 8:30 pm and then had been interviewing all day with this company and several others. The thing that threw me off was that the CMO seemed cold and she wouldn’t take off her her COVID mask. Not sure why since she was the only one in the room. Is this a red flag?

I have an interview for Functional testing in EPAM anywhere on Monday(28th mar). And I applied through one of my cousins referral.

When I applied, the JD was different in LinkedIn and recently the JD for functional testing is different.

Currently linkedin shows EPAM hires for Finctional Api testing in which I have a knowledge but not experience. Will EPAM consider me or will they require API experience mandatory?or will they hire&deploy me to a project according to my skill set?

Ugh, I am four business days past my loop interview and tomorrow is five, which is their maximum number of days they said they would take to make a decision. I’m trying to be optimistic, like, if they unanimously didn’t want me they probably would have told me sooner. But who knows?! The waiting is the worst part, knowing if the time investment into interview prep was actually worth it.

Googlers, with RTO do you feel like your teammates have been quitting or thinking about quitting? Or are people mostly happy about returning to work? Or are neutral towards it and just doing it? I am an electrical engineer by trade with no background in computer science, what type of PM role I should target in my application journey and should I target more hardware based PM roles (as I currently manage a portfolio of hardware products with little to no software) or as long as I can do well during the interview it does not really matter ?
