We need Biden to deal with student debt like a business would. Cancel an amount that will provide completely relief to 70% of debtors. Those who abused the system still have to pay off their balance and everyone else can invest their resources into reinvigorating our service based economy.
Hi All! I work for a US based boutique tech company in the healthcare admin space. I’m currently interviewing for a senior role with a startup that is based out of Canada that is breaking into the US. Does anyone have any advice on the difference between the two workforce’s or experience with a company entering a new country? Any and all advice / tips that can be used while interview prepping would be helpful.

I’m new to health insurance in the US. Been here only for about 2 years. I have the $1500 deductible plan with Premera bluecross. I’m having anxiety issues over the past few months and would like to see a psychiatrist. I know healthcare costs are insane here and would really appreciate if anyone could provide me a breakdown of how much I would need to pay for few sessions? I know it depends on a bunch of factors, but ballpark estimates are appreciated. Thank you!
Hi! I’m 30, own a home, 50k in 401k & 25k in Roth, no other savings. Roth has a ROR of 2%. Should I leave $ in Roth? Reinvest in a diff acct? Grow it until I can buy an investment property?
Love how when there's a high-profile layoff—Netflix the latest e.g.—recruiters and others in hiring/helping positions come blasting out of the woodwork to be all magnanimous & altruistic, offering contacts, referrals, job openings, etc...you know, when it makes for a nice, shiny, like-baity LinkedIn post. But for those of us *constantly* hoping for a response, any response? They can't be bothered. Come on, folks: be altruistic ALL THE TIME, not just when it benefits your social media Q Score.
Per the email that we received, Performance expectations for PMY22 for A-SC levels are same for USDC and Core. But why the pay and benefits are not same?

Anybody work for Reliant Rehab? We’re in the mid-Atlantic region and our COTAs were told Friday they are getting 9% pay cuts. I’m fairly new with Reliant and I can’t help but feel deflated that this is how employees are treated given the environment. I heard 4% pay cuts last year too. Is this happening in other rehabs?
Any recommendations for an open restaurant/bar scene? Am helping a friend visiting from SF who wants to have one big reunion where 10-15 people can casually come by (including his 20-year cousin).
I have basically no technical skills. Which is usually why I’m in business analyst/project management roles. And I hate it for many reasons. Any way to transition to test automation engineering? I know I’d have to learn selenium, but anything else? Totally new to it. But have done functional testing in the past.
on the way to an interview this morning eating a sandwich. I walked past a homeless man who had a stray cat perched on his lap. He asked for a bite of sandwich to feed them both as they hadn’t eaten in days. I gave the whole sandwich over and headed off to the interview. As I got to the interview room there was a large executive chair facing away from me. The chair turned and on top was a mirror. When looking in the mirror I could see the cat. I am the cat. Truly inspirational when you work hard

Has anyone had their family ask them to front an expensive cost for them? If so, how did you feel about it and did you pay for the item? Recently my parents asked me to cover the dog’s upcoming surgery bill of $4000+. The dog belonged to me in college but has lived with them for 5+ years. I feel like this is a lot of money for me to pay and hope I get paid back. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

I have been meaning to ask this question but I’m not sure how to put it across. If an HR calls you or salary discussion and the salary they are offering doesn’t match with your expectations then what’s your next move? Do you politely turn down the offer or accept it just for the sake of it? Also, if you turn down the offer do they reach out again?

FINALLY DID IT! Got an offer that I’m happy and excited for. Haven’t put in my notice yet, but just feel the need to let it out. Thank you for listening.
