I’m an insurance analyst 2 (servicing) for nationwide. I have a P&C insurance license, just slightly over two years experience, a 1.5 year 100% quality evaluation record. I have gotten to the current position I am in very quickly, comparatively to other folks b/c of my performance. I work odd hours to receive additional pay, which is good. I believe I make about $57k. Given that I don’t have much experience in the industry, I don’t know if this is good pay. Looking for advice advice to advance.
I don’t even know if they need that kinda mental maths day to day. I bet there are really good consultants in the b4 who really can solve problems well.
Moreover that’s why you have multidimensional teams in consulting. To bring pieces you might be lacking.

It's not mental math on the online case, it's can you structure out a problem then solve it using a calculator or excel
Went through this recently. Did behavioral and thought it went poorly. Interviewer was even keeled so hard to know, but I didn’t think I was as crisp as normal. Took online case and I KNEW I bombed it. Felt like a disaster. I had a few people ask me how it went and I told them I knew I wasn’t advancing and it had gone very bad overall.
Got a call the next week and told I had done great on everything.
Lesson: it’s often really hard to judge your own performance. Especially after the fact when you focus on the negative and nit pick everything.

Probably higher than you think. I thought I bombed the online case but somehow still made it to the final round
Behaviorals are weighted but slightly less so. 4 factors we primarily look at to pass 1R. Need good scores on ~3/4 of them.
What’s the difference between fit and experience/background? Wouldn’t both of them just be “behaviorals”? Or are the questions asked differently
You had a BCG 1R today?

Yes to both
Does anyone have their BCG r1 after 6/10? I want to see if that is an option before reaching out to them
OP are you interviewing for the west coast?
