Has anyone done Hometap equity? How was your experience? I can get 600 K max permitted by Hometap. Based on my current home value, it will be approx 15-18% stake for Hometap. I was thinking of buying a second home at Arizona or Florida 100% cash using this 600 K and adding another 1/2 M or so from my bank account. After 10 years, I can decide to sell either one of my homes or just return the amount based on then home value and keep both homes.

Hi all. Recently went through the interview process at Google for an L5 non tech strategy role. Made it to final on-site interviews, but just got the email from the recruiter saying they’re passing due to “other candidates that were a stronger match”. I asked the recruiter to have a quick chat to close the loop. Anyone have any experience with this? I genuinely want to know areas I could improve/ask for overall feedback but also keep the door open for a future Google attempt.

How much did you lie on your resume to get your dream job?

In an environment where we’re barely surviving, fielding resignations left and right, I thought this might be a good place to vent, source ideas, discuss common trends etc. Our field is very unique and hard to find comps in terms of salary, daily duties, expectations so I’m hoping we can have an open dialogue on this!

Hey awesome mamas! What are your plans for when you have to go back to work but your kids are staying home either doing distance-learning or the hybrid model? My three are all in middle school and high school doing the hybrid and are home by themselves Monday -Wednesday. Even though they’re old enough to be home by themselves I still don’t quite trust that they’re on task- especially my 6th grader. Also worried about having to help them with a lot of homework after I get home from work. Ideas?
