Just flew Delta from Boston to Heathrow. Paid $300 day before flight to upgrade to premium select for the reclining seat as I wanted to try to sleep on the overnight flight. Seat didn’t recline properly and footrest would not release. Two flight attendants attempted to fix it and couldn’t. Purser on the flight filed a report. I want to file a complaint with Delta and request compensation. Should I ask for the upgrade amount to be refunded, miles?

Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? I’ve always wanted to be in a position to help my family but we all live in the high COL city so my salary doesn’t carry me as far as it would elsewhere.
