Just found out a few senior managers are being laid off. We just hired a couple new seniors and staffs, how worried should I be as a staff?

Given the outbreak, are places actually going to be hiring right now? Recently laid off from 9-5 and my freelance is starting to fizzle.

With a recession around the corner - two questions:

Someone senior at work is very dismissive of my questions and makes me feel nervous around them. I have just joined the team and so I have a lot of questions. They also try to blow things out of proportion or misrepresent facts and I get flustered in the moment and can’t keep track of what really happened.
