Just found out corp platinum card perks are different from consumer plat and firm wouldn't let me upgrade my green to consumer platinum even if I was to pay 550 out of my pocket. Anyway to get around?

Uh, if you're willing to pay the fee, get your own?

OP- you don't get any bonus points for booking with the platinum card. If you just want the perks, apply for the platinum card on your own, and link the accounts so the points you accrue on the corp card go to your personal. That's how I do.

I want to be able to charge my business flight and hotel expenses to the card and EY mandates these expenses to be paid on corporate card only. Wouldn't have asked the question if that was the solution! Thanks for trying though!

like

I only charge my flight to my corp card, I use CSR for all other expenses

Are those points back-dated at all, or does it only start dumping points to your personal account once you link them?

EY2 - that's the alternative I thought of as well but then keeping track and not being able to import directly in gt&e is a pain. I might just do that though get csr and charge hotels to csr and rest everything on corporate Amex

True - breakfast and small meals are typically less than 25 so you don't need a receipt for that. I usually meal average and do a bigger dinner once or twice a week so if you stay on top of it it's not too bad. Just can't get back logged.... had to dig into my savings for a 12k amex bill once waiting for reimbursements

@consultant 1, I believe they are backdated to a degree. Also, I did forget to mention that they charge about $90/year to link the accounts.

My fiancé had a late night drink with a female classmate of his. She apparently had the drinks in her car and they celebrated after their late evening class ended. Is this a red flag/sketchy behavior? Trying to gauge if I’m overreacting but this bummed me out as he’s never mentioned hanging out with her until tonight. I don’t mind friendships of the opposite sex at all but just find it odd that I’m just finding out about their friendship tonight.
