If you are getting baby clothes, don't just get newborn get a couple different sizes so they have clothes for when the baby grows. Also take into account what season it'll be when the baby reaches that size

D2, that was on my short list! Thanks!

Yeah this is a bit weird to be giving gifts already. Wait for the shower, see what they want.

Take your best friend out for drinks, he'll need them

I'm not in the same state, unfortunately. Also not sure guys are typically invited/included in baby shower process?

Vouchers for a meal delivery service that they can use after newborn comes along.

I’m at the point that I start trembling every time I get an email alert. It’s the little things piling up that is getting to me. I’m the bottle neck. I’m the one who needs to move these things along. But there’s always something bigger and more urgent. Nothing’s ever FINISHED.

Is there anyone that is teaching from home and your students have returned to school? How did you get permission to do that and how does that work with kids in the classroom? I am guessing there has to be an adult in the room while the students are in there but is there another teacher during their planning or do you have to get a sub? Our reentry has been delayed and I am working with HR to try and stay home while students aren’t there but it looks like I’m going to have to take some Parental Leave once students do return because there is not a plan otherwise.

My full time job (not SMU) is literally making me sick-spent time at the ER. One associate quit and another is out of full paid parental leave (must be nice, I’m not paid for doing double the work)…so I’m now expected to do the work of 3 associates. My supervisor isn’t exactly understanding, and I don’t know what to do. I’ve been searching for jobs, but it’s difficult since my background is diverse and not focused on one area of law. If I quit, how hard is it to find a new job?

Hi Moms- Curious to get a sense of what your different parental leave policies look like and how you have liked them. My company gave 12 weeks paid and I felt it was woefully short for my first. Before having my second, I'm interested in pushing my company to increase the time and am curious to hear what other companies offer. Beyond just the time, was your company flexible? Is it the same for all parents? Did it feel like enough? Thank you!

Hi everyone, I joined EPAM Systems in India as Software Engineer. It's been already a month failed couple of internal interviews haven't got placed in a project. I'm preparing as much as I can. I'm feeling these internal interviews are bit tough. Question 1) Is it safe in EPAM if one is not in a project. How long can one stay in bench. 2) Is there a possibility one can get into a project without these interviews.

I think Indian teams weakness is not Ipl, it is that they do not play in any other league (big bash, cpl, bpl etc ...) - I think other teams have experience in many other places. Haris Rauf became a star in the big bash league, Asif Ali has played in cpl, and south african leagues etc... they play in all the leagues except Ipl and have a variety of experiences.
