I also have a blocked tube and have PCOS. My husband also had a low sperm count after washing. My RE recommended doing IVF to not waste time, but I didn’t want to jump straight to that. So I did a IUI and I’m currently 30 weeks and 6 days! It only takes one, please feel free to DM and if you want talk! Best of luck!
I had one tube blocked. RE suggested trying canalization, which didn't work in my case. One more thing to check is if the blocked tube is causing hydrosalpinx which can hamper implantation. The surgeon was able to check for this during the canalization procedure.. We proceeded with IVF as I had other issues as well.
Also if only one tube is blocked, you could also get pregnant with ovulation from the other side.

Yes that is apart from the ovulating side factor. That is what the doctor told us. More often than not, one bad tube means the other has issues.
You can try an IUI but that would pose the same health risk that may turn into an ectopic.
EY same boat and I am very early (5 weeks) pregnant. I did a cycle of IUI, which is what most RE’s will suggest (and IVF depending on your age) if you can’t unblock the tube. There is hope! I’m staying positive and keeping fingers crossed everything stays ok for me.
Agree with this.. we had 3 cancelled IUI cycles coz I only ovulated on the blocked side.. that's when we decided to move forward with IVF..
Curious to understand how you found this out. Were there any signs? Thinking of you and wishing you all the best.
HSG test is used to test for fallopian tube blockage.

Did they tell you if there was any “why” to them being blocked? E.g., are you born that way or does something cause it?
Not sure the why yet, only know it’s not from an infection
OP, I know this was posted awhile ago, but what have you found out since posting? Hopefully good news?
Congratulations!! That’s exciting! Did you end up having surgery on the one blocked tube in order to conceive?
