Hi IBM sharks 🦈
So I got interviewed for a project by the IBM team. The interviewer told me that its a go ahead from their end, now the client will assess my profile and if they too are fine with it, I will be onboarded?
Is it true that we have client interview as well? If yes then after how many days of interview by IBM team, client interview takes place?
Or its just that if the IBM team is fine with it, we are selected for the project?
Any inputs on this will really help :)

Your first year will be a struggle but you will get through it. Just develop trust with your team (both above and below). You are going to mess up, but that is how you learn. Organization and delegation are probably the most important things to master as a manager. You will also become more responsible for managing the client relationship, so learn how to deal with difficult clients and how to set and manage expectations early so that the relationship improves and they become less difficult.

Congrats!
I received an early promo last year just as I felt comfortable being a senior. Overall the term working for the job you want and not the job you have is really true in public accounting. First year as manager was similar to my last year as a senior with just more responsibilities. You'll spend more time doing BS admin stuff than being in the weeds on a day to day basis. I have enjoyed the transition personally so don't feel overwhelmed.
Wish i was getting early promo. Pregnant and managers at my firm get 2 extra weeks maternity leave!
