Just gave notice...but did not say where I am going. HR says they will send My NDA to my new corporate HR. Is this usual?

Tell them you’ll update your linked in soon. 😂

Not usual at all. The NDA onus is on you, not the new employer…

like

I agree, it’s not on your new employer. It just sounds like they’re trying to force your hand into telling them where you’re going

like

That sounds fishy. Never heard of that. (But I’m not a lawyer and don’t even play one on TV.)

Seems like the NDA is between you and your old employer. Details might be in the NDA.

like

Never heard of this happening before 🚩🚩🚩

I am sure they are trying to find out to determine if you are going to a competitor or not. They make want that information to decide if they want you to work your notice time frame or let today be your last day.

Is there a reason you are not sharing where you are going?

like

This is not unusual in industries that deal heavily with non-competes/ NDA’s. Many times it a warning shot to the competitor.

You aren’t obligated to provide them the name.

like

Your new employer may ask if you have an NDA, but haven’t heard of old employer sending over to new.

like

Very unusual. You have no obligation to tell them who the new employer is, avoid.

like

No. The relationship is between you and company no the company and your new employer.

like

Not in my experience 😳

Nope.

Sound fishy, that’s definitely not usual

Agree that it is unusual, however, Why not tell them though?

With that all said, yes you don’t owe your employer anything.

like

Whaaaat? I have never heard of this before.

Hi all,

Hoping someone could advice on it. I recently accepted a job offer and it has been discussed and confirmed via email/phone that my starting salary is £26k and will raise to £28k after 6 months probationary period. Now, I have been sent the contract but there’s no specific statement about the £28k salary after probation.

It might be a stupid question but I am worried about raising this as an issue. Is this normal? Or is it better to ask for a revised contact with the specifics?

Hi all - I'm looking for help defining our rating scale in terms of our company values. We rate on a 5-point scale of Unsatisfactory to Exceptional Performance. We rate against four company values and five competencies. It was easy to define the rating scale against the competencies, but I'm having a really hard time defining them for the values. I've tried Googling and everything I find is geared more toward competencies. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I am rebuilding an internal function and would love to understand what minimum benchmarks everyone is using for their teams. What outputs are good and exceptional e.g reachouts to conversion, placements , SLA, average time to fill
