It’s only 30 days and it’s for serving your country. Can you imagine the bad press for the firm if they held you back for that.
All big 4 have a good policy on this - contact your partner and HR
I can only speak for EY, but earlier the better. People leave all the time and/or take leave of absence (maternity/paternity leave), but if you let people know and they can plan for your absence. Plus, most people are pretty supportive (partly because there are not many of us and partly because they know there are legal protections). You and to say what country you going to?
Notify HR ASAP, and I can’t imagine Deloitte would hold this against you re-promotion
I’m pretty sure there are laws in your favor. Thank you for your service
Would it affect my utilization and promotion ?
Should not legally affect your promotion ! Laws protect patriots like you !!! Also thank you for your service
And thanks for being of service! 👍
They generally adjust your client hours goals down when you take non-PTO leave (maternity, FMLA, etc). I would imagine the same would be the case here. In any case, take the advice above and notify HR and your project leadership ASAP.
Yes. Duh. Thanks for serving! :D
Good luck and god speed!
Thank you for your service & also enjoy this March break from office monotony!
Recently retired partner I assure you Deloitte will take care of you But tell HR asap
Thank you for your service!!!
