If you said Boston, it would be believable..all of Mass? This article is a clickbait (as most articles sourced from Yahoo are these days) that has 0 details on how the conclusions were segmented by area, demographic, income group, age or any of the pertinent measures. by this marker you are basically unhappy in your 20s and 30s unless you went to Harvard or MIT and got a really high paying job. Why not “set” the income at which people are happy to a million dollars aross the globe and call it a day?
Not saying that the ‘salaries need to increase with increasing inflation’ point is wrong, but some of the data points demonstrated in its support are ridiculous.
