Promotion aur reviews ke alawa kuch batao yar
I got a raise today, but I feel like I'm still underpaid for my position. But my feeling won't do much to help me negotiate. Are they any good sites to see salaries for Product Designers? I know about Levels.fyi and Glassdoor, but I would like more data if possible.
Also would love to know more resources as to how to negotiate a raise.
Anyone currently working Danske IT and Support Services India Pvt Ltd ? How is work, India team and job security? How does promotion work, I was offered Information Risk Analyst position for 6 years of experience.
There are mixed reviews everywhere and I don't know anyone who knows this company. I am unable to decide if I should join. Any insight will be really helpful.

If it’s the exact same experience then you have a case, otherwise if he has more internships, longer full-time, more work done as an AE, in the industry longer, then you don’t have a case.
Advocating for yourself is absolutely the right move. However, be forewarned that comparing yourself to another person in the department, especially if salaries aren’t public, can be tricky. (It’s always better to focus on the value you’re bringing rather than someone else’s experience, which will always be different.) I’d start by telling your CD what you heard, and asking why you’re paid less. Not why he’s paid more.
Yes!!
The best advice I’ve ever received in this industry is to never compare yourself to others. If you can’t make an argument for a raise on your own merits you’re just wasting your time. Focus on you. If you’re comparing yourself to your coworkers you will always have a reason to be unhappy
Too late - you should have done your research beforehand.
You can ask for more without referencing him! The value of knowing his salary is knowing they think that’s reasonable for your title and experience. So if you make a case, they should say yes.
Yay! And absolutely!
You should always negotiate the initial offer! Employers offer less anticipating that you will negotiate. Just be sure not to bring up that you know how much your make coworker makes! And congrats 👏🏼🤗
Same workload and client revenue?
Yes! Absolutely. The idea here is that you now know you're worth $65k and argue for it on its own merit, not that "he makes $65k so I should too" which is a tricky thing to make a case for.
