Hi all,
I just came to realise Deutsche Bank has a fixed rule of max 30 to 35 % hike on fixed component and remaining 10 to 15% variable i.e. total 50% max hike you can ask for no matter how good, skilled you are.
Is it true?

USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hiiii! I’ve been at my job for a year and a couple of months now & I’ve gotten rather bored because the work is repetitive, not challenging, and hasn’t really allowed me to learn or grow as much as I would’ve liked to. Given how I’m still paying a ton of money for my postgrad in Business Comms (that I haven’t really gotten the chance to use), I’ve been thinking of entering the world of consulting. Any word of advice? PwC McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group KPMG

Confused by your question - are you looking for better comp?
Do you like the job? Do you like your coworkers? Do you like the managers you work with? Those are some questions I want answered before I weigh in and talk about comp.

Yes.. Tbh, I wish I could just move from individual contributor to PM and get a full time remote position. But, based on what I presented ( on my compensation for this area) , would like to know if I’m actually underpaid.
If cost of living is similar to Miami then yeah I would say underpaid. There are remote positions but I find that those may underpay you in contrast to where you actually live (I live in NYC). You can definitely get more elsewhere, I think it could be difficult to justify a large hike in salary in your current position considering what they are offering now, but always worth a shot.
No, the cost of living in Melbourne is way cheaper than in Miami. But thanks for the comment☺️
Comp seems low relative to exp, imo
