Does anyone know if MBB (Toronto) is hiring a lot these days? Currently working at big 4 (manager) with no case interview experience/ no mba … thinking it would at least take me 2-3 months to prep and network. Would trying to get in by Jan be too late? Also, my spouse is thinking of potentially moving to the states next year. Do you know if US MBB helps new hire with their H1B visa? (Understand it may be difficult but want to check if it’s worth trying)
Hello Fishes. I have received positive feedback from KPMG interviews for consultant position and have submitted documents. It has been 4 days since I haven't received any call for negotiation or offer letter. How long does it take to get that?

International Tax SA here. A partner at Deloitte IT group reached out to me on Linkedin for an opening. I replied and he wants to talk on the phone about the opportunity. Does this happen a lot? Don’t think I’ve ever heard a partner recruiting directly on Linkedin. Anyone has any thoughts?
Hi All— Happy Juneteenth! I got approached about a VP Corp Comms role in NY. This would mean leaving consulting. What do you think is a good asking price in terms of salary?
Is 215-225k possible for an L5 role at Amazon Seattle? They are offering a lateral move from FB but only want to jump if +20% in comp raise is possible. Additionally, anyone familiar with successful negotiations at Amazon? Recruiter likes to play hardball but the hiring manager let me know she’s pushing extremely hard to get me hired.
Hi guys, presently a manager at acn. Have a senior security assurance consultant offer at Amazon and potentially a security program manager offer from a tech company outside of faang. Expecting second offer to be slightly better numbers. Which would you go with especially from a career growth/exit opps perspective

Can anyone on the Lumi team Bain & Company speak to what the initial coding assessment consists of and what your day to day like? This is for the product developer role. Is it more of a software developer / engineering role or does it include machine learning and consulting?
C2 at MBB. On track for promotion to become project leader in July. Although exhausted with the work and want to exit by end of year. What are some typical exit opportunities at project leader level?
So peeps, office opening up. What's your plans on moving to Mumbai? Knowing apartment hunting can be a real bitch, some are planning to go back to hometown in the WFH week. i.e work at office at designated week and live in temporary accommodation, and then travel back.
Proud wife moment: My husband was just accused of having a "feminist agenda" by a coworker who had historically hired former frat brothers because the new metrics-based hiring process he put in place resulted in 4 recent hires in a row being women.
Have a senior consultant offer from a Big 4 and a product manager offer from a pharmacy retailer (cvs, walgreens etc), but both are similar roles in digital PM/strategy. Which offer would be best to take to help me eventually exit to the tech industry in a similar role?
I was fired from my job about two months ago (imo it came down to the lack of work) and have had a hard time opening up to my friends and family about it. Anyone experience a similar situation or have any advice?
Hi Fishes Capgemini is looking for 4-15 years experienced candidates who can join immediately for below positions. If interested in referral, please let me know.
If you were looking to exit Big 4 Consulting, what positions would you be targeting? I have done a little of everything with no specialization (great performance reviews across the board). But now a little unsure of what my skills really are from an employer POV.
My local zoo and park system is looking for an Internal Audit Manager. 5 years experience, CPA preferred. Salary range is $60-75k. Are they completely unrealistic about what someone would be willing to make for that position as a CPA??? Like I've been an auditor, CPA for 8 years now, been a supervisor and a lead. I'd want double.
In a panel interview, What kind of questions do you ask associates at the end of an interview? I am prepared with questions for the partners, but what do you really ask the senior associates in the team?
Can anyone comment on the differences/perks from moving as an ADA/AAG to an AUSA? Did you notice any differences besides the pay and benefits?
I can honestly say that working from home these last few years has been the best thing that’s happened to my career as a producer. I never realized how distracting being in an office was. Now, I actually can focus on bidding, scheduling, reviewing contracts, and all of the stressful parts of production WITHOUT having to factor in code switching and a commute. I left my agency producer role for a fully remote producing role and I’m just….thrilled. Anyone else refuse to go back to office? 😩
Anyone hear further for Havas's internship application? Was suppose to "receive more info for an interview call from the creative team early this week" and poof nada
Are these positive signs during the final round interview with the big boss i had today? 1) asked for my timeline and when i can start the earliest, 2) listed all the political challenges the team is facing today and neighboring teams that are difficult to work with. Am i over-reading?
New consultant here - when people talk about Strategy & Operations, what exactly is the operations side and what do they do? Coming from the perspective of the B4 firms having the more prestigious S&O group, but also having a separate supply chain/operations group? What’s the difference between the two ops groups?
Would love some advice—I’ve spent the last 2 yrs in sr level role doing policy work I enjoy. early on I discovered I was srsly underpaid & had to fight to fix it. Then leadership changed & things were good, until recently they dangled a promotion only to tell me it wouldn’t come with a raise for at least 6 mons. Then a diff agency asked me to apply for a role that pays a lot more but the work sounds so boring. Do I follow the money or do I keep doing work I like while feeling undervalued?
Anyone know anything about PwC's culture? I just interviewed with a recruiter and they seem so tired that it brought down my mood.
Who else is too burned out to even apply to other jobs? And for those of you who managed to apply and interview successfully while working - how did you do it? Any concrete, tactical advise would be very much appreciated.
