A headhunter for a PE shop wants to talk tomorrow for an associate level position. What salary range should I be expecting?
I received an offer from a top company and signed the offer letter 3 weeks ago. They have been distant since then, and their top competitor has made me a better offer in terms of position/title and salary. I also feel this company is a better fit. What do I do?
How do you determine if your salary/compensation is reasonable? I’m a 5th year associate in a major market.
Heard of private credit funds as a potential from FDD with solid comp and interesting work. Does anyone have more info about this industry and how to break in?
Ladies! 1 year out of college and currently making double what my boyfriend makes (high $80k vs. $45k) - I don’t have an issue with it and neither does he, but I do anticipate this trend of me making more continuing (bc consulting). He’s thinking of becoming a teacher (and currently a paralegal). Not sure what my question is but just kind of hoping for some reassurance that I’m not crazy/being naive for currently being fine with a potentially life long/growing salary gap?
Hi Amazon fish! Can someone help me understand how the Amazon job title Senior Sales Operations Manager within Amazon Transportation services would be graded (E.g., L5/L6)? I am being asked to provide my target salary, RSU, and bonus structure and I am unsure what would be fair for this title. Thanks so much!
Any suggestions for salary negotiation scripts that I can use to increase the offer over a phone call with recruiter? I’m doing it for first time so looking for tips and see how others have backed such requests with data. I don’t have any other offers to leverage but I’m in final stages at a few other companies.
Hello, got an offer from AWS for SAP consultant role based of Orlando, Fl. Base pay : 148k Joining bonus : 62k (over 2 years) Stocks : 36 (over 5 years) Is this less and how much should I negotiate ?
I billed over 2300 hours last year (Req. is 1850). During my review I was told verbally that I would be receiving a bonus but firm has not provided any info re amount/distribution. Red flag?
Who decides the compensation for big 4 experienced hires? Is it the interviewing partners?
Do Deloitte and EY offer higher comp for Non-MBA masters degrees? Or is it like PwC where comp is same for all degrees that are non-target MBAs?
Currently work in security in a “next tier below a big 4” consulting firm. I’ve got three different options currently to make a jump, 2 cloud service provider GRC roles in industry (1 smaller, 1 large, both reputable in the cloud space) and a big 4 cyber advisory roles. All about the same compensation. Any advice on narrowing down the choice to pick the best option to help growing my skill set and future career??
Anyone has insight on Deloitte’s Global Finance Services Senior Financial Analyst - role, hours, team and/or salary?
Does EY offer sign on bonus for exp hires?

I'm working as a audit staff in ey GDS and pursuing ACCA parallely. My work is too hectic that am unable to study and I'm finding it very hard to focus on any one. Sadly I can't quit my job due to financial issues and the work pressure isn't allowing me to study. Can someone please help me with a good solution out ? :/
So proud to be at PwC. Support for our black community, no lay-off, still have bonus, still have promotion.
Thoughts on income level to switch from Roth to traditional 401k? Currently facing a marginal tax rate of 36.75% including state taxes. Feels like traditional is the better bet now.
What does it take to make Delta 360? I have 285k MQMs and $60K MQDs which I’m sure will qualify me for Concierge Key with AA.
What’s the best exit after FDD in terms of salary ? High salary jobs basically (I’m in HCOL)
Everyone in the Politics Bowl just needs to relax, spend time with family, and eat a piece of pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Pumpkin Pie: https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/thanksgiving-pumpkin-pie-culture-war?fbclid=IwAR36zKq42jd-l9Dbh08ZqxxRajlIZMoDa3Q9YJzQ1zazASpD9jDoOmFkB7w
Had two interviews, second was late last week before the COVID stuff kicked in. The recruiter who was very responsive has gone silent, ignoring my last two emails. Can't tell if it's me or the virus.

So what happens if the firm loses one of the main clients you work on? (Get fired, move around to diff teams etc...)??
Pencil dipped in paint and shoved in my new electric sharpener. There are acts of destruction daily in my classroom. Most of my classes are 25 kids in a small room. When my attention is taken for a second, someone does something like this. Gluing things to counters. Hiding paintbrushes instead of cleaning them. 15 years, I've tried everything to cultivate a respectful classroom culture, and they just don't care. I'm so tired. So, so tired. I don't know how much longer I can do this.
Interviewed for a proj recently and was told if they were to move forward with me there’d be a technical interview. I’ve always struggled with technical interviews (and I’m also very new to this field) so I’m just wondering if anyone knows what to expect from a technical interview here? Also if anyone is looking to mentor can I dm you?
Anybody fly through MCO today? Wondering if news about security delays is real or just political hype
Did not make Google hiring committee due to 2 borderline interviews. Phone interviewer (American guy) gave me a strong feedback, 5 on site interviewers, 2 Desi guys gave me borderline feedback, remaining 3 American guys gave me strong feedback. Google requested a follow-up interview and the additional interviewer provided good feedback as well. I am not sure what's wrong with me, every time I interview with desi interviewer, I tend to screw things up.
I got my year end review and need “another 6 months of consistency” to get promoted. I know my bonus is lower than the median for my pay band. Should I ask for a pay raise / larger bonus or just wait for promotion in 6 months so I don’t rock the boat?
Hi all, I realize this isn’t a medical community but would still appreciate insights. I started Trintillix for anxiety / depression but ultimately insurance wouldn’t cover it. I switched to Wellbutrin and didn’t feel anything. I also now need to get off Wellbutrin because of some other medical things. What successes have people had for anxiety / depression? I have a history of eating disorders so really won’t take anything that might make you gain weight. Realize this is a tall order, but TIA.
What’s the most popular MBA program out there? I feel like the whole world wants to apply to Kellogg
I am currently working as lead associate in the assurance Team of EY GDS, pursuing ACCA. I have a total of 4.5 years of experience with ~ 2 years of experience in audit. Is there any chance to get recruited in Deloitte USI ( for audit or any other SL?)
I was fired last month after a short time at the company. I knew things weren't going well- it was a terrible culture fit & I was also planning my exit strategy. They wouldn't give me specific reasons other than to vaguely say it was performance related. I agree I made a few dumb mistakes (none of any dire consequence) but what kills me is that I tried really hard. I don't want to change careers but I have a deep seeded fear that no matter how hard I try, I will never be a "good attorney".
