When you leave, does it make a difference to companies if you made it through at least a busy season as a senior or just that you have the title? I did have some experience this year as an A2 where I split some of the senior responsibilities with the manager. However, I’m worried if I leave before busy season, companies will see that as really just being an associate.

I'm a financial services audit manager (going to be a 2nd year manager in 2 weeks) and looking to transition into corporate/operational FP&A. My long term goal is to become a CFO so I believe that I will need more finance exposure which I don't really get with my current role. Any thoughts how difficult to get an FP&A job with this experience and whether I can get an FP&A manager title? Also, can anyone share the WLB and work hours in FP&A?

I want to quit but I'm not sure what kind of role I want to look into. Would appreciate any advice! The only thing I know is that I don't want to work overtime anymore. I'm a new senior and my main client gave me some good hedge fund auditing experience. I don't like controls or reading into guidances.
