Oh wow. My diamond shoes are too big for my feet. My wallet is too small for my notes.

What's your skillset?

Even I am confused between Tesla and BMW . LOL!

Tesla for sure haha more room for growth

Congrats! What are you leaning towards?

It was sarcasm 😁

No fun intended 😂

I would be torn between them as well! If comp is similar for both offers, it's my understanding that Google's WLB is a little bit better than FB. Hope this helps!

Anyone from Nagarro. Need referral?

A recruiter reached out to me and told me that the company is targeting $130k-$160k depends on my experience and 10k sign-on bonus. It’s a senior full stack software engineer position at a start up/mid size company. I have 3 YOE, how much should I negotiate?

Has anyone mailed it in on a project and got successfully rolled off without ramification? I’m supporting multiple projects, never asked for one in particular, and I have limited time for it. Everyone else is on it full time so they of course expect the same sense of urgency, but it’s down on the list of my priorities. Replacement staff extremely limited and I’m not going to spend loads of extra hours as I’ve done in the past to save another project. Nobody will ever learn.

Please help to decide the best offer based on CTC & WLB. 1. Capgemini: 17.1 fixed + 1.9 variable 2. R system: 21 fixed + 1 L JB ( WFH permanent) Current : 7.5 YoE: 7.1 years

Anyone been working at TikTok/ByteDance to give feedback on WLB. Any weekend work? Any asian pacific calls after 6pm? Any calls on Sunday night? Weekend emails? Please advise on internal culture.

Tik Tok has made me realize that I should’ve became a real estate developer. Instead I chose a path where I’m afraid to ask for 5% raise, and burn my brain 80 hours a week working for the man.

Can someone please help me on how I can negotiate a higher salary, when a large component of my total compensation is linked to variable pay. I have cleared the final rounds of interview with a company, where the variable component is almost negligible and they're only willing to give a raise over my fixed compensation. PS The variable pay last year at my current firm was impacted due to onset of covid. :(
