Just got an offer from Meta and wanted to engage you guys for some advice. I’ve never really negotiated salary before so I’m looking for tips/ insight on what you were able to change and leverage in your offer letter before accepting. Role is for a Partner Manager - base at 92k, equity at 29k, and relocation package.
Hi all! I'm searching for a fully remote HR Generalist position. Can anyone refer? Thank you!
Any advice for an experienced HR professional with SHRM-SCP? I was downsized from my last job as a VP of Admin wanted to go with Coordinator/Assistant structure. Been in HR for nearly 20 years with mostly generalist experience. Managed a function and/or people for most of that time. Senior level in my experience, but definitely not executive level. (Limited budgeting and PM experience.) Having a horrible time finding a new role! Getting a lot of interviews but no offers and getting discouraged.
I have a second round interview with Cushman and wanted to grab some incite on culture. How’s work life balance?
Currently given Interview for devops role at tavisca.
Total exp.: 3
CTC: 7.5 lkh
Had few doubts :
1. How is work related to devops and cloud ?
2. Since the tavisca is taken over by JPMC , are all policies and benefits are now applicable to current tavisca employees ?
3.Also if someone can share about pay / bonus / salary structure ( i would discuss this with HR once i clear all rounds )
Hey! When asked about your current CTC in a negotiation, do you include all benefits? I recently read a post where someone said they include the value of all benefits such as reimbursements. This seemed like good advice for those who have a low CTC and would like to negotiate a higher package in a new role. What do you usually include? Any other advice for working around the CTC question and ask for the market rate? I'm particularly interested in negotiations at Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase

Any SE's here currently at Snowflake? I'm about to start an interview process with them (already had a phone screen with the hiring manager). I'd love to get some insight into the day to day of SEs there, especially on the enterprise team. I'm a former Oracle SE with experience in data management and analytics and I'm currently at a small SaaS company helping build out the pre-sales function as the second hire (because the first got whisked away to product management after 8 months haha).
I am currently a full-time product designer at a small agency in Toronto. A really good opportunity came up to work at a big corporate as a product designer as a contract 6+months they also offered to pay x2 my current salary. I don’t want to give up my full time job for a contract job (kind of risky for me) but I also don’t want to lose this opportunity. What should I do? Is it possible to take on both jobs for now?

Looking for a bit of insight on how commission or bonus is structured on flat rate residential real estate at Canadian law firms. I was offered a good base salary and I was asked what type of structure I was looking for. I am uncertain as to what is considered standard or what to look for in terms of bonus/commission structure. Any insight is appreciated!

I'm a long time prosecutor getting into the ID game and billable hours. Are there any resources out there that can help me get more effective/efficient without spending months/years learning the hard way? Some days I'm at the office 10 hours, took virtually no breaks and yet only bill 7. 🤬
Please let me know the salary range for Staff - 3 & Senior - 1 in EY GDS for Assurance SL?
Just walked into a GS store and found a beautiful high-beat model. It’s listed at $6,300 but I’ve heard watch prices are negotiable...what would be a reasonable price to pay?
I honestly love my current manager, but this is my first agency job and he has been almost too hands off - I appreciate the freedom & trust but have trouble getting in touch with him when I have questions or roadblocks, and he doesn’t check in on my projects. Any advice on how to manage up?
How do you complete the last parts of slideware? Boring cleanup, numbers consistency, spelling etc (the ocd factors)?
Is there ever a time where it’s ok to stay quiet in a meeting? I wasn’t feeling well today and didn’t contribute to a meeting of around 8 people but I felt like I was more there to listen and chime in if someone asked me something. Just feeling bad about not speaking up more or being vocal. 😒
How are y’all planning your consulting exit strategies? Do you have a specific role in mind to aim toward? Are you building specific skills outside of billable work?
Take a Dad break and enjoy wine...
What are the best exits in Denver? Tough to really get a lay of the corporate land for mid/upper level exits given fewer HQs / more outposts.

Recently I had an emergency that required me to leave work around 10am on a Thursday to take my 5 year old son to the ER. I let my manager know he was going to be admitted and I wouldn’t be at work the next day. Friday morning I get a text at 8:05 asking if I’m coming to work. Not, how’s the little one? You guys okay? I never miss work, ever, and this felt like a complete slap in the face. I’ve wanted to quit for a while, but this is the icing on the cake. Should I say something to my manager?
I’ve been seeing a guy for 2 months and we see each other twice a week-ish. I decided to ask if he’s sleeping/seeing other people and he absolutely freaked out and went SILENT. As in lost words before saying no 15 seconds later and then asking if we could talk about it another time and then left my apartment. I did not ask him for a label (nor do I want one as we’re still getting to know each other). But was I out of line checking in about this? It feels like this was the appropriate time…
Anyone please refer me to Walmart. I am currently working as Java Full Stack developer. YOP 2021

If you received multiple offers, and one of the companies went out of their way to get you the best pay + increased stocks, but you still decide to reject them, what's the nicest way to do so without burning bridges? Would love to hear your experiences
Living in SF but remote until September (earliest). Rent is too high + apartment too small to justify staying for 3+ months. Playing with the idea to leave (temp or perm). Are people doing the same?
Anyone here a member of Revenue Collective? Is it worth it? What kind of value have you gotten out of it if so? Thanks!
Anybody want to share their experience as an AE for ADP or any HRIS and small business sector? Looking to transition into tech/SaaS sales. What can I expect day to day to look like from not having quote on quote “tech” sales? And what are my comp structures going to look like? Located in Seattle
Anyone in HCM? Got an offer from Paychex, Paylocity, and ADP. Base is roughly all around the same selling their benefits. Can anyone give me insight to help me make an easier decision?
I have a very poor manager and I have the opportunity to give her some formal feedback every quarter. It’s supposedly anonymous but she doesn’t have many direct reports so she could probably figure out who said what. I have declined doing this before because I fear retaliation, but I am wondering if I should state my case because she is truly terrible. What would you do?
How do you become an enterprise account executive? Do you have to have Saas experience? Or could you have been in sales in a different area? I worked for a real estate brokerage in NY and our team used to do over 250 million in sales a year. I’d average about 75 million. Would that count for anything?
Just got a verbal from Oracle for a manager position and should be getting the official offer by EOW. When I got the verbal today she said “I don’t know if we’ll be able to get there but we may be able to get you 100K base”.. I’m seeing on Glassdoor and Comparably that the base is at 110 - 125… how should I bring this up or push for a higher base if it’s “the closest they can get? Just trying to prepare ahead of time so I know how to respond, I’m new to negotiating! Any help would be amazing!
Anyone know of any part time work from home opportunities? I have experience in the past as an SDR for an insurance firm.
Looking for career advice. 8 total YOE and 3 1/2 in sales specifically. Just over 3 YOE with an industrial IoT company selling mostly hardware and some custom software solutions and occasionally cloud connectors as an inside sales engineer. I'm about to finish an Enterprise software sales internship at IBM but will need to find a job as a contingency in case things don't work out. Just trying to figure out what roles may make the most sense given that background. Hoping to stay in tech. Thanks!

I am starting a new position as an SDR at LinkedIn and thus signing a new contract. It’s an entry-level position but I have already worked in the company for some time. Would you recommend negotiating the offer or SDR entry-level positions are usually not negotiable?
(I've heard that other SDRs were earning around 40k EUR 70% base salary and 18k EUR 30% variable earnings, in Ireland)
