Just got done with a final case interview. He didn’t have questions because we were over time but he said if he thought it was not worth hearing, he would have interrupted me. Then he said usually no questions is a good sign. He mentioned there are 2 other final interviews today so he needs to decide from 3 people. Finally he said that the offer will take until next week so you can hear something from us then?

I have a SA FDD offer with Grant Thornton that’s offering $97k base. Also interviewing for a Senior Consultant position with FTI consulting in their OCFO solutions practice (Corporate Finance and Restructuring). Made it past the first two interviews, one of them technical, so I’d really have to collapse to mess up getting an offer at this point. The issue is I’ll have to get an extension on accepting GT’s offer. Is waiting for FTI worth it? Insights on salary comp, WLB, etc. is appreciated!!

How should I respond to the HR team’s email smartly about compensation?

This is for a corp strat role. I completed the first HR interview and will be moving forward to an interview with the VP I would be working for. The VP is on pat leave though, so I think HR is trying to keep me engaged in the meantime.

She sent an email asking what I thought of the salary range. I want to be able to negotiate a good offer in the end, so I am hesitant to put anything down in writing.

Does anyone have experience with workday? My status was “in process” forever and changed to “Completed” with no word from HR. Did they reject me and not even bother to tell me? Seems kind of rude and strange after multiple rounds of interviews.

In previous roles because of lack of resources / attribution system we could only measure things like leads, attendance rate, click rate etc. not the actual final impact on B2B revenue generated. I went in-house 3 years ago. At the time, I was interviewing with 2 companies. One company was a much better cultural fit for me and I was 1 of 2 finalists. But they chose the other applicant. I got the other job and have been there ever since. The work is ok,but I still struggle with company culture daily. 3 years later, the original job that I wanted has been reposted. So I was one of two final candidates for a position. I was not selected and was fine. What I do find issue was being told they loved me and still want to work with me. They referred me to one of their vendors - pay is 50k less and I would be working for the person I lost original position to.
