Why do consulting firms terminate employment of Junior consultants for no serious reason ? Taking juniors like luxury interim people... I have a friend that got laid off after two probations (6 months for the first probation, 8 for the second) for no reason. She felt profoundly disrespected and says that if nobody can take her longer than 6 months, she can't progress alone. How can she move forward and persuade her future employer to confirm her employment?

I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 12. My family did not opt to put me on medication. I illegally discovered Adderall in college. Worked incredible. Got diagnosed after college & after having been fired from my first job. Passed the CPA exams on Adderall. Went off of it again. I do everything well at my job except for attention to detail within my excel files & emails. Will taking ADHD medication really fix this? Does anyone else have this issue and was it resolved by taking medication?

I was affected by layoffs about a month ago and urgently looking for a good immigration lawyer. The lawyer should be experienced in handling this 60 day grace period situation and developing alternate strategies - such as change of status to B1/B2 or applying to jobs from India. Deloitte started my green card process in 2019. Went through prevailing wage last September, then they paused the process I guess due to covid and political reasons. I checked last month and it’s still on a pause. My 6 year H1B is up in 2023. Any suggestions on what to do next or anyone know how long the pause usually last? I am from China mainland. Thank you

Is a new H4 EAD eligible for automatic work authorization if h1 and h4 are approved along with a new i94. Category of this h4 is c(26) which falls under the automatic validity as per uscis nov’21 rule. I am moving from L2ead to h4 ead.
