Nope. But congratulations !
Umm the BCG3 I think thatâs a bit silly for you to say that about McK. Why donât we stick to our policies and why OP wants the move, without making general statements about another firm? Curious OP whatâs the reason for the shift?
Just be patient :)
Their package is HUGE. đ
Well Iâm at BCG, so I assume the package is very similar
OP, interesting. I would think it would be tough to switch firms at our career stage Agree that comp will be pretty much the same.
Whatâs the reason for the move, if you donât mind me asking?
Lmao mckinsey is doing cost cutting. Less first class flights, cheaper dinner, no more global staffing
BCG3... not sure where you are getting your facts. I havenât seen any of the measures you are talking about
Well $85 daily max on food, $50 dinner cap. So some of that is true
At least in US, it is $95 daily, with no per meal max
And overall, other than removing the meal max there hasnât been any major travel policy change in years
Dallas office switched to integrated staffing...
BCG has no daily food cap, better first class policy (basically always unless ur manager is stingy) , and we are growing fast... unless ur getting counseled out I see no point to switch...
Integrated staffing is a lifestyle measure where increased local staffing is encouraged. If you want to work in other regions or globally, nothing is stopping you. The measure encourages partners and EMs to check with local office while staffing projects, but availability and knowledge base still trumps above geography.
Integrated staffing also mostly is for generalist (really the only people with office focus).
And if youâre complaining about $95 daily, wow wonder what your daily meals are like?!
From a perk point of view BCG offers better... is that not a fact?
Whatâs the pay?
