Are there any recruiters from IBM who have information on their apprenticeship program (Soft Eng)? I have applied and my application is under review. How much knowledge/skill set does one actually need to get into the new collar program? From what I have gathered online, it's kind of a mixed bag and can take a long time to onboard someone. I am self taught, know the basics of two languages and have some small projects to show. Just wondering if there is anyone that has been through this process.

Lol you don't know how many times I wish I was back in college. At least I could still get an A without having to change the zeros into hyphens on all the slides the night before the project is due
Oh honey child
It's worse when you start working. Enjoy your last semester. Cherish it . Ride it out in a blaze of glory and make sure you travel before your start date
I literally would kill to go back to college
it gets wayyyyy worse
Meh. Less stress on exams. But more stress every day. Showing up at 9 instead of 830 can piss a moron off. In short...more to care about daily but no make or break it things like exams.
Dammit OP. I empathize, but you broke out cover.
Have interns always been on this site? Interesting. Oh man if your stressed now, you got a long road ahead. I'm assuming you've read the constant bitching on this site? Don't stress, you'll be fine, and enjoy college for all of us who would kill to get off this hampster wheel and go back. Good luck OP
Tryna be slick with the UG abbreviation..every consulting project you'll be on for the rest of your life will have a final..deliverable. same cram session, same stress, more hours, no curve, you can "fail" even if you get sll the answers "right", and you can't start the project over if you fail. Good luck with your finals!
You already have a job offer, why are you stressing about college
If you think a final is bad...then you should reconsider consultig
