I’m over Covid and coddling people who throw temper tantrum’s about the vaccine. There is plenty of information for people to consume and make an adult decision. Aside from those who medically cannot risk the vaccine, I have zero empathy for those who refuse it based on pure political tribalism. At this point, it is what it is. Let nature select the winners and losers.

I’m starting to get really depressed about dating. My ex and I broke up a few months ago and I’ve tried to move on but haven’t found any guys better than him, only people that are worse. He decided to end things between us and it was sudden for me. I realize that I’m a better person now and that he had more flaws than he was willing to admit. Is it bad I miss someone so emotionally inept? Any advice for dating in a COVID world? Feeling really low on hope right now.

I'm an introvert, so never been in love with parties to begin with, but my friend group are starting to host parties again post covid. I've had a pretty miserable time the last 18 months and pretty much have nothing nice to say. I like my friends and I value their friendship but i dont know what to say that wont make me a debbie downer. Any advice? Lie? Be cagey? Be honest? I know the coronavirus is a huge deal, but every time I open a news outlet, the headlines are always much more negative and pessimistic than it needs to be. I get that the negative comments get more viewer response, but it can really make the general public feel more depressed under these circumstances. So I sincerely wish headlines and articles can be more objective and stop with the constant negativity to attract viewer attention.

Negotiating salary? was originally asked my desired salary and I asked for their range. She calculated an estimate of 80k but I told her my salary was higher currently. Now with formal offer getting 100k with a job title higher after consulting with the approval team. Is it worth negotiating or is this a good enough bump?
