Let’s say they make work from home permanent, what will they do about pay structure across areas where there are different cost of livings? Let’s say you are hired out of New York as the same level as someone in Houston? Will the Houston employees get bumped up or NY employees get bumped down over time? Looks like the real winners here may be those in high paying areas such as New York and San Francisco. They can move to areas now with low cost of livings and make a killing! Thoughts?

I work at a startup and my CEO is talking to a potential client about taking a white label of our SaaS product. It would be the same product with the clients branding, certain features may be turned off and small differences in copy. My question is how would you build that? I’m not technical so in simple terms would it be 1 code base, that would create 2 instances and then some sort of configuration which will apply settings like branding, copy, feature flags etc?

- Role is non-Product Manager

- 180k base + options (0.12%}
- valuation is $100m
- Series A, so very far from exit/IPO
- Role is Product Manager (what I’m pivoting to)
