If you started working at a company for like a year as a staff level, for example 2019-present, and this is reflected on LinkedIn, do you guys update any promotions to show it as (the date or year of promotion) -present... or just show it as 2019-present? I’ve seen people do the latter more but is that even right?
Hi all, would love to get your opinion on an estimated market rate for a employee like me, as I’m thinking about asking for a raise in January but haven’t done this before. 1 YOE TS/SCI Full-Scope Clearance 1/2 thru Masters program (Analytics Georgia Tech) Been lead data scientist on team for 5+ months 2 AWS and Tableau cert (sorry had to throw that in there lol) I know this is a tough task without all the context but I’m currently making $95k and that seems to be the lowest on my team.
Has anyone in the WPP network been promised a promotion/raise and then suffered through the annual Q4 “cash push” freeze? Did you finally get it in Q1? If so, when? Was it worth the wait?
Passed over for a promotion a third time, even after doing everything, and more, you’re supposed to? It’s time to GTFO
Have you ever accepted an offer somewhere, and then a week later your current agency countered with a promotion and a higher salary than the other offer? I want to take the counter from my current place, but I don’t want to soil my reputation for revoking my acceptance. They are trying hard to retain me. Also, will I have a target on my back if I stay and they knew I was going to leave? I am also just grateful to have options and want to acknowledge that.
To all my Canadians working at ACN. What is taken into consideration for promotion? (Analyst to Consultant).Do I always have to ask for feedbak on myperformance tool?Or will my CC contact my managers?
Will be promoted to manager effective 10/1. If round 1 apps are due in September for certain schools should I wait until round two when my title has taken effect? Or apply round 1 noting the promotion is official just not yet effective?
Started a new job on January 25, 2021. Reviews and promotion packets are due at the end of the month. You can only submit a review and promotion packet if you’ve been with the company since December 31, 2020. I’ve gotten very positive informal feedback from my manager and other colleagues. Should I push to have a review/promotion packet now even tho it’s only been 3 months?
S2 about to be a S3 in a high COL city making 84k in FDD (top 10 firm) without CPA. Raises are being communicated this week... is it reasonable to counter offer if my raise is not where I want it to be and how could I approach this topic respectfully? I'm really hoping to be in the 94k+ range especially since I've been a key player in my groups biggest client for the last year. I'm considering quiting to pass my exams in the next few months if my raise is not where I want it to be...
I’m at the Promotion Day celebration at Park Grill (Chicago). I came because I needed to go to Office to return my old Laptop. It’s loud and crowded. I’m never in the Office so I don’t know anyone. :(

If I accept the promotion to Partner/Principal what's the least number of years I could work without it being a financial mistake. I have an opportunity to do something completely unrelated that's my passion, but I feel like that's the wrong decision when I'm this close. The other opportunity should still be there for 2-3 years
What's the best way to ask for a raise? Getting paid 71k with a masters working in advisory 3 years exp
Would you confront a senior leader on inappropriate behaviour yourself (remarks about gender and race) or would prefer your coach to do that? What would be the merits / consideration that you should factor in?
When the client sends you a "mockup" of exactly how they want the vertical piece to look (after rounds and rounds) and it's a widescreen PPT — 💀
I'm beginning to think the moral panic about CRT isn't about CRT.... dropping MLKs "I have a dream" and Susan B. Anthony 🤔 https://news.bloomberglaw.com/social-justice/texas-senate-votes-to-remove-required-lessons-on-civil-rights

Is it normal in Big 4 to: 1. Assign tasks with least amount of direction, context and criticize for not thinking on the feet? 2. Assign more than one task at the same time and push for updates on all?
Any tips for transitioning to maternity clothes? Did you put away “normal” clothes that didn’t fit or choose a section of the closet for maternity and bigger sizes? We have limited space, but I also don’t want to get too cozy in my new size large clothes and forget about all of the pretty, smaller things I used to be able to wear. 😩 Only first trimester but have already had to go up a size and feeling scared.
I’ve only been with my company for a couple months but it looks like my title will change soon (title bump) and there should be some pretty cool added responsibilities. Should I bring up compensation or anything like that? I feel like I’ll be doing more work aligned to the direction I want to take my career but I also don’t want to look greedy since I haven’t been there for long. I have around 2 years of experience if that helps paint the picture. Also if yes, how do I bring it up?
How long do pwc take to schedule an interview. It’s been a week since I sent them my availability
Responded to medical rfe. It was from SC, not a local FO. Does it mean they won’t probably ask me to do an interview locally?
Anyone thinking about or have already given up their place and opted for the nomad life? Any how-to’s and lessons learned? Specifically regarding choosing a location and keeping things affordable
Does anyone have any “I made it” items they would get themselves to celebrate a big milestone or promotion?
I have been searching for job from quite a long time and all I have seeing HR/Panels asking for 1. Number of implementation projects done. 2. Work experience on S4 Hana. And if I don't have atleast any one of these, I will not be considered. Is it really that important ? Being joined as a fresher - Is it really something that I can decide whether to be in support or implementation project ? Is upgrading of ECC to S4 Hana in my hands ? And the difference is really that vast ?
What is the best way to ask my boss about my trajectory towards a promotion? I did mediocre work last year and decent work this year. Hoping to kill it ASAP and get more responsibilities. MUCH THANKS
