Just got the best lab results I’ve had in 3 years and I’m soooo close to remission. Please let all of this work. Last 7 years dealing with it has been absolute hell

Hi all. I finally relatively have inner peace now but I think I should look for a virtual therapist that is well versed in childhood trauma, self parenting, digging out repressed trauma and memories, PTSD and all that jazz.

Preferably female and Chinese American recommendations would be best. I've tried one from BetterHelp, but didn't click and that was a back-end system match, not self selected.

What platforms do you use for therapy that's worked for you?

Was anyone else here considered an "essential worker" during 2020? I feel like I'm still recovering from that year!

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who shares in this group. It truly helps me stay sober. I am approaching 12 months sober but have been struggling lately. While I have not relapsed, I’ve been close. Normally, before I get out of bed, I write down my reason to stat sober for the day, but lately the reasons have been lousy at best. But reading about everyone’s struggles and successes has helped get me through this past month. So thank you all for the inspiration to keep going strong!

Long one - one of my best friends (10+ years) and I had a drink last week, I told her of my recent ADHD diagnosis and how we had noticed the generational trend (my mum & grandad as very similar symptoms wise and they acknowledge this, but not diagnosed). The friend mentioned her therapist has suggested she may had ADHD (inattentive type) - she then told me a few things like how she's absolutely neurotypical and she's never associated herself with neurodiversity etc, she made a ... Just Venting : So , I am 5W4D pregnant from our fifth FET. Started spotting like light brown since yesterday and also been cramping back pain and lower abdomen. I am also feeling wet down there looks like more discharge. Called my RE and he asked me to rest with my legs elevated. I am worried now though doctor assured it’s all okay unless I am bleeding .

Does anyone know anything about auditory processing disorder? I had my hearing checked, and it came back normal. But something is still off. I never had hearing issues until I started working in PA. Telephone calls are the worst for me. I keep saying "I'm sorry, can you repeat that?"

I started a job in May of this year. I’m in need of a major surgery that will take me out of work for 2-4 weeks. Every week I wait the pain and situation gets worse, however I’m not comfortable taking time off when I just getting started. My question: how many months should I work before request off? What do you think is appropriate? I was hoping to get to the 6 month mark but I’d love to hear what you have to say.

I got offer from CTS. But Hr is asking to provide form16 or pf statement for all my previous companies, else my background check will fail. Is it true?
I can provide these for my current company, but difficult to get for earlier ones, since it's been almost 10 yrs I have left them. I have written to hr of previous companies but no response yet.
I told CTS HR that I have experience letter, relieving letter, salary slips , bank statement, but she says it's not enough. Any thoughts pls?

I’m never the one to initiate, but was talking to a guy I’ve been crushing on for a while & mentioned how he turns me on so much. Seem to never feel accomplished enough. Not a brag at all but done the following yet I feel like I haven’t achieved anything:
Attorney and just got a new job increasing my salary substantially in the exact practice I’ve always wanted, happily married and expecting a baby, building a house, working on MBA with a near 4.0, recently ran my first half marathon and set PRs running other distances, taught myself how to cook entirely from scratch, etc etc etc. Yet I feel like I am not doing enough…
