Why is Product Management an exit opportunity so many consultants want? Are most people more aware of what PMs do? I initially found myself wanting to exit to PM as well without a hard understanding of what product managers do, the pros/cons, their varying roles (strategic vs execution vs user experience), lifestyle, etc. Hell, I’m still doing the research now.
